The terminals of the Integrated Transportation System (SIT) in León have been transformed into citizen service centers. These terminals have departmental offices and digital modules that operate from Monday to Friday, offering a variety of procedures and services for citizens.
Among the available procedures are payment of property taxes, requests for residency certificates, public service reports, advertising and construction permits, as well as land-use procedures. Additionally, guidance is provided on processes before other municipal departments.
These terminals also feature digital kiosks from the State Government, where birth, marriage, or death certificates can be printed, as well as making payments for renewals, vehicle ownership, and non-infringement certificates. An ATM from SAPAL has also been installed, allowing direct payment for water services.
One of the most notable aspects of this program is the inclusion of free or minimal fee medical services. Starting this month, the terminals also function as modules for carrying out municipal procedures and receiving medical attention at three specific stations.
The medical services offered include general medical consultations, nutrition, psychological support, and dental care, as part of a citizen attention model implemented at these terminals to bring public services closer to areas with high foot traffic.
This strategy is part of the 24/7 citizen attention model promoted by the General Directorate of Mobility in collaboration with other departments, aimed at reducing barriers to access essential services. The terminals of the Integrated Transportation System in León have evolved from mere transit points to comprehensive centers for citizen attention and services.
